About RebekahRebekah Silver Jackson works in the fields of fashion and costume design. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Theatre Art Studies from BYU, 2016. She has received grants for her research on fashion and costuming, presented at regional and national Costume Society of America symposiums (where she served two years as Membership Chair), and received TMA’s Outstanding Theatre Technician Award (2016).
She has worked at various theaters, including Utah Shakespeare Festival (USF), Tuacahn Center for the Arts, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre (UFOMT), and the BYU Costume Shop. She currently works as Head Tailor at Tom Nox Men’s Shop, Provo. Her recent credits include Illusionary Tales (BYU), Wendy and Peter Pan (BYU), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (USF) and Matilda the Musical (Tuacahn). On the fashion front, Rebekah has presented fashion collections debuting at New York and Utah Fashion Weeks. She continues to do custom designs and couture work for private clientele. In her spare time, Rebekah enjoys exploring nature, spending time with her family and friends, and cooking various cuisines from around the world. |
