Costume Design Assistant for The Winter's Tale (2015)
Directed by Lindsay Livingston
Costume Design by Mary Farahnakian
Brigham Young University
Pardoe Theatre (Proscenium)
Spring 2015
This was an unusual take on Shakespeare's tale. The director wanted it fantasy, with the two countries (Sicilia and Bohemia) looking distinctly different but similar enough to be in the same world. I worked with another assistant, Madeline Hall, on this show as we had a cast of 24 and approximately 75 costumes. I was in charge of designing and pulling stock for most of the Sicilian characters.
